COLOUR ANALYSIS

Our style journey together will begin with a colour consultation, where through the draping process we will find your season and see the colours that best suit your skin tone.
The session will begin with a tea or coffee, and I will work through a series of questions to understand a little about your skin tone – after all, it’s your complexion that is the primary influence that I look at.
You will leave our session with a depth of knowledge of your season, and a fan of colours that you can refer to when looking through your wardrobe or choosing something new to buy.
You will have a clear understanding of your season, and you will feel confident with these colours.
The drapes will show you your happy colours, but they will also show you just what the wrong colours can do to you – making your complexion appear dull or pale. We want you to be bright and happy and your correct colours will enhance your features and make you smile.
For this consultation I ask clients to arrive with little or no face make-up on so I can clearly see how your complexion works with the coloured drapes.
Colour analysis is always the first step for me to work with you as a client – after that we can look at a wardrobe edit, a wardrobe re-style or personal shopping for a special occasion or just to fill in the gaps to ensure you have a wardrobe that works well for you.
COLOUR SHAPE & STYLE

This consultation starts with us going through a style questionnaire so I can understand where you are with your style. We will look at your shape and discuss how you feel about it, your curves and your features. There are no right or wrong answers to this, as I want to hear about you and your style and how you want to be. Often this conversation triggers ideas of how you want to dress, which can come from your teenage years, when you had less inhibitions.
We talk about your style personality, and I use Pinterest boards to help to illustrate our conversations.
For this consultation I ask clients to please arrive with little or no face make-up on so I can clearly see how your complexion works with the coloured drapes.
WARDROBE EDIT
This session is based on a minimum of three hours booking, priced at £225.
Additional hours can be added on and at the time of booking depending on how many rails of clothes you have and want to go through.
A video call or phone conversation can be had prior to this appointment to understand the size of the wardrobe.
This is a service that I offer to clients after they have had a colour consultation – which can be done at the same time and works most effectively fresh from a colours session.
With your fresh knowledge about your most happy colours, we head to your wardrobe to edit out the items that no longer bring you joy, or that you can see are just not the right colour for you.
Although we do have rules to guide us, I will never tell you to throw out pieces that you love. As we go through your wardrobe you will try on items and together we will decide what to do, with my expert knowledge to guide you.
Together we will decide whether your clothes go to charity, onto a clothing auction site like Vinted or Ebay, or go to a pre loved designer agency for onward sale. I can help you and guide you with all of this.
WARDROBE RE-STYLE
This session is based on a minimum of three hours booking, priced at £225.
Finding new and exciting pairings and combinations in your own existing wardrobe is my absolute favourite thing to do – looking at your clothes with fresh eyes will often ignite your love for pieces that you thought were old and tired.
Pairing a skirt with a different top, adding in a belt, necklace and shoes can really bring back to life pieces that you no longer love – and with my expert help we can create brand new looks that you will just adore. There are no rules here, just a time of fun and exploration as you try on items and we re-work your style.
You may have a dress that you used to love and that no longer fits you properly – maybe consider taking this to a tailor and turning it into a skirt? You may have a blouse that you don’t like the sleeves on, let’s consider cutting the sleeves off, turning it into a waistcoat or just a short sleeved version? The opportunities with items is endless and a time for you to be creative – I can recommend a tailor and also help you with this process.
This is a time to fall back in love with your clothes. We can create a wish list too, of items that will really help to pull your wardrobe together.
I can photograph the new combinations to make dressing a lot easier – you will have a whole new catalogue of looks that you can head to – empowering you to dress with ease and confidence.
PERSONAL SHOPPING
This session is based on a minimum of three hours booking, priced at £225.
Travel time to be added depending on location.
As a Personal Stylist I offer personal shopping sessions, where I help you to select items for your style and your budget. Often using a personal stylist is seen as an added expense, but choosing the right pieces first time without countless returns is surely time and money well spent...?
Once you know your seasonal colour palette and we’ve been through your wardrobe during a wardrobe edit, it’s time to work together on a personal shop.
This is the time to put into practise all you have learned with colours, body shape and style personality – together we can work through your list of pieces that you need in your wardrobe to really make it work hard for you.
I cannot help you select pieces without firstly knowing your colours, and knowing what you have in your wardrobe – it’s just the way I like to work!
We can go for vintage, designer, high street or to the charity shops – I can even help you to shop online. The location of the shopping depends on what you are looking for, but these arrangements can be made together – locations we can visit include Leicester (Central or Fosse Park), Oakham, Nottingham, Birmingham, Derby, Bicester or London.
Depending on the location, I can also make pre-selects for you, to limit the time that you spend in the shop browsing.
Shopping for a one-off event
Bespoke packages can be pulled together when I know your style, colours and shape and shopping or advising for a one-off event can take place. I can pull together mood boards for you to look through and work out outfit combinations based on items you have already in your wardrobe or help you to find something completely new.
Whether it’s for a wedding, a christening a big birthday or a special anniversary, let me help you find an outfit so you radiate joy and confidence.

A bespoke gift voucher package can be specially made for your loved one and discussed at time of booking to include your choice of services.
I hand make and package up the voucher which I can send out to your loved one with a special note inside.
Once the voucher has been received then the appointment can be booked in with me at a time and date to suit.
Gift experiences must be paid for in full before the voucher can be sent out.
